MADCPO is working to:

Provide training, education, and support to all Michigan District Court Probation Officers.

Monitor and impact legislation that affects Probation by serving on key State committees and organizations.

Promote the idea that District Court Probation is an integral part of the Criminal Justice System.

Advocate for, and support policies that serve both the needs of the community and the offender.

Network with other organizations that share a common vision or goals.

Provide its membership with relevant tools and information by producing a newsletter, a directory of District Court Probation Officers, and holding an annual conference.
